Tall Brass Student's Lamp

1900 - 1920
Description

Dating from around 1910-1930, this is an elegant, tall brass lamp with the original 'shell' brass shade. It has an adjustable angle fitting on the arm and a little cable tidy at the base of the light.

The lamp measures 63cm in length and has a 15cm in diameter base, and the original shade measures approximately 19cm in length. We had the lamp polished, but not lacquered.

It has been rewired to UK specifications and fitted with an online switch. The light fitting would allow a different shade if that was preferred. The original cast iron weight is still inside the base to keep the light stable, and we have covered it with felt to protect furniture.

Postage and packing within the UK mainland has been included in the price, and for other areas or abroad, please contact us for a quote for delivery.

Alternatively, the light can be viewed in Surrey by appointment as we no longer sell through a retail outlet.
