A Silver Mounted 'Whiskey' Tot with Silver Label.

1920 - 1940
Description

A charming and collectable item of usable silver. This delightful piece is a chotopeg, commonly called a whisky tot. It was used to take a noggin of alcohol, usually whisky to bed to ward off sleeplessness. This particular example has an associated hallmarked silver kidney shaped label, unusually with Whiskey spelt in the Irish way. The body is of glass and conical shaped with a star cut base and handle.

Condition :- Very good, with no chips or cracks to the glass and no dents or splits to the silver.

Label Date :- Birmingham 1913.
