A splendid Meiji period Japanese silver wire cloisonné enamel blue ground vase of hexagonal form, finely decorated on the front with a bird flying toward flowering white Peonies, finished with an intricate rim border. This fine vase has a silver mounted base & rim and is marked for Miwa Tomisabaro on the underside, very minor dents to silver but the enamel is perfect, the vase stands 7 ½ inches tall.
