Pair of Antique French Distressed Painted Salon Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

Pair of original painted antique French salon armchairs, dating from around the 1890-1910 period. They are in good original condition & the painting is well but naturally distressed, giving off many different shades. The paintwork is predominately a pastel green, both light & dark sections. These chairs have also just been re-upholstered in a cream fabric. You can see the wood showing through in various places & a bit of cream undercoat. They are definitely distressed, so please check out all of the images. There's lots of fine carving & reeding all over the frames.
