Stevens & Williams Rock Crystal Inkwell – Sea Creatures

A stunning Stevens & Williams Rock Crystal glass inkwell c.1890 consisting of a cover with silver plate collar, an inset glass well for ink and the main bulbous body beautifully engraved with a swimming lobster, corals, a sea urchin and various shell fish. The top of the lid is also decorated with corals and a clam shell and the inkwell measures 5 inches in diameter.
Condition: The body has a small internal bruise on the underside. The rim of the inset well and body have minor nibbles commensurate with use, two flea bite chips on the cover (see images).
