Description

An oak, rosewood and satinwood Victorian Period antique chess table. The square top having a fine acorn and leaf carved border housing a rosewood and satinwood chess table with thirty two rosewood square sections and thirty two satinwood sections. Having sliding trays to hold the "taken" chess pieces, the whole raised on a finely turned and carved column with four carved cabriole supports and inset brass castors. English circa 1860

Dimensions: 20" wide x 20" deep x 28" high

Condition: This table is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
