Fine quality Edwardian satinwood Carlton House desk by ‘Maple & Co’. The upper section with small drawers and cupboards with inlaid oval panels. Sliding tooled leather writing surface over one long and three short drawers, raised on square tapered legs capped with brass castors.

Their high point was in the latter part of the Victorian and Edwardian periods. All of their pieces were made in house and of exceptional craftsmanship and quality; they sold mainly to Britain’s elite and serious collectors now seek many of their pieces.
