Description

Fabulous pair of large late 19th.c. marble and ormolu mounted garnitures c.1880. Standing 18" tall, of classical urn form in beautifully figured and polished marble. With extensive gilded leaf pattern ormolu mounts and handles cast as swan’s heads. With a old repair to the base of one of the garnitures. Otherwise excellent original condition.
