Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has the highly reliable calibre 342 'bumper' automatic movement. An Omega "bumper" is a vintage Omega that has a "bumper" automatic movement rather than a full rotation rotor automatic. The oscillating weight makes a partial rotation before "bumping" into a cushioning spring.

The sub seconds dial with gilt baton markers/numerbers has been fully restored so is in mint unmarked condition. It has gilt hands and the Omega logo on the winding crown and a genuine Omega buckle. It has been professionally serviced and a new glass has been fitted and is in exceptional condition.

As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case. It comes with a brand new high quality presentation box.
The solid 9ct gold case is fully hallmarked.
It comes complete with a new premium quality blue Hirsch leather strap but a black or borwn one can be fitted if preferred.

Omega are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.
The watch case is mid size measuring 32.5mm in diameter not including the crown making it an ideal size for a small gents wrist or a large ladies watch.

Overall this watch is in outstanding condition and highly sought after by Omega collectors indeed it looks as if it was rarely worn, this is the best example of this model we have ever come across.
The watch has been fully serviced and is guaranteed to be a genuine Omega in all respects. It has been professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.

It is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.

The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturers approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and sealed.

Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give you reliable and dependable service and will not require further service for many years.
