Tall Edwardian Hat & Coat Stand C.1910.

1900 - 1920
Description

Very impressive Edwardian era hat and coat stand c.1910.With nine large double hooks for hats and coats arranged in two tiers around a tall fluted wooden column with carved acanthus finial and large tripod legs with scrolling feet. Later overpainting, otherwise excellent condition. Note the shaped ends to the hooks to stop garments being stretched out of shape.
