The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
Tacy was a combination of the names Tavannes and Cyma
The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement, with 15 jewels, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case back has some small ‘dings’ and some rubbing to the cartouche but overall is very acceptable for a 1920s piece.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The watch has a white enamel dial with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. There are several hairline cracks to the dial but only one is visible to the naked eye.

The watch comes with an early 20th Century English solid silver double watch chain. Each chain measures 20cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. There is also a solid silver 1906 fob. The total weight of the chain and fob is 42.7g.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
