Description

A good quality Queen Anne style burr walnut bureau. The fall opens to a well fitted interior with 2 serpentine shaped drawers, various pigeonholes and 2 other drawers with ivorine handles and brass fittings. The fall with a replaced tan leather writing surface. The exterior with 2 short cross banded drawers above 2 shaped and moulded long drawers all with good quality brass drop handles. The bureau has unusually shaped top and sides and the whole stands on a moulded base with centre carved decorative shell and short Queen Anne style cabriole legs with carved feet. Condition - very good, mahogany lined with working locks and keys. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
