The dial engraved for the maker 'P BARDON, LONDON'.
The body with a bracket top, and feather laid veneers surrounding the exposed tube, the edges with fine ebony and boxwood stringing finished to the outer edges with a stepped rounded mould. The bottom with a ground cistern cover with ring centred decoration.
Date c1780.
