Large Oval Gilt Framed Mirror

1900 - 1920
Description

An elegant oval wall mirror, in nicely aged gilt frame. With bevelled mirror, the frame with ribbon decoration, ridged to the outer and with overlapping carved leaf decorations to the inner. A good size, could be used as a bedroom or hall mirror or as an over mantle mirror above a fireplace.

Gilt wood and gesso

Good original condition, aged gilt frame with some small losses to ribbon decoration.
