Exceptional George III Oval Tea Caddy

Description

A very good quality late 18th century George III period oval TEA CADDY in particularly fine original condition. Both front and lid are marquetry inlaid with baskets of flowers, some of the original bright colours of which remain. The lid opens to reveal most of the original lead lining and two small inner lids. Complete with original ~ and working ~ key. A really lovely caddy.
