Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
With moulded curved edges to the sides, original brass carry handle to the top, exposed dovetails and shaped plank feet. With 2 fitted drawers; one side to hold pipes, the other to hold cigarettes. No label, but stamped with a serial number, this piece was advertised in the Liberty & Co Yuletide gifts catalogue of 1903, and is pictured on page 217 Daryl Bennett’s book on Liberty antique furniture.
