Large & very solid antique Victorian mahogany chest of drawers in good original condition from the 1860-70's period. This is one of the better quality ones that I always try to get hold of. I always check to see that they are free of bad splits or warps, because items like that are very hard or impossible to restore properly. This chest has a solid mahogany top, rounded corners, original mahogany handles, locks & a plinth base on flat bun feet. All the drawers are deep & have very fine dovetails. The bottom drawer is extra deep, because it's attached to the plinth & all comes out together. This chest of drawers is a very practicable storage item & there is no wasted space.
