Exquisite Continental 900 Silver and Enamel Box

Description

An absolutely exquisite box and unbelievably without damage having survived the last 100 years or so, dating to around 1910.

The box is made from a heavy gauge of silver, stamped 900S-M. The hinged lid fits well and the box is smothered in a wonderful white guilloche enamel, the lid decorated with a continuous garland of hand-painted pink roses. The interior of the box retains the original glided finish.

Excellent condition measuring 2 1/2" in diameter x 3 /4" tall.
