French Ormolu & Carrara Marble Putti Candlestick C.1860

A fabulous 19th century French ormolu candlestick group depicting a male and female putto each clasping a cornucopia branch with a collection of fruit at the top of each. This splendid bronze group sits on a circular Carrara marble base which has three ormolu feet and an ormolu foliate garland around the body with beaded trim, it is in excellent overall condition commensurate with age and stands 32cm tall.
