A stunning 5 ft. wall mounted Chinoiserie walnut headboard having fabulous raised gilded and painted decoration with a scene of a seated woman holding a bird and a male companion holding a large fan. The background with views of a pagoda and a Chinese character holding a parasol while crossing a bridge and another seated in a gazebo. In good condition with very few bumps and bruises associated with age and use. Complete with sunken wall mounts to the back. Size:- Height...23.5''/ 60cm. Width...60''/ 152.5cm. Depth...1''/ 2cm.
