The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The sides are framed with ochre yellow, along with the rim and a salmon pink bands of blocks runs under the rim. A matching band sits at the top of the foot which has textured steps in ochre and green-grey. Eye-popping turquoise ground inside. Each has an impressed Copeland mark and date code for July 1873.

They measure 8 3/4" high, 8 1/2" across face to face and 9" across the diagonal. Condition is very good with just a few small points to note: there is a small chip to the moulded decoration on the scrolled rim of one and some frits to the noses of some of the faces. Crazing inside and a little oxidisation and slight yellowing to the turquoise near the top and a small chip inside the bottom of base of one.
