19th Century burr walnut Canterbury, the kidney shaped top inlaid with boxwood lines and floral decoration, with a pierced brass gallery running along the top, raised on four turned and finely carved columns with the back having a lovely shaped carved and pierced splat, the bottom section of the Canterbury having a pair of shaped and scroll fret-pierced divisions connected to a curved stretcher supported with turned and carved spindles, with a single mahogany lined frieze drawer below with original turned knobs, standing on four turned supports with brass caps terminating on ceramic castors. Circa 1860.
