The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 610, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 14,981,685 dates it back to 1906. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding crown and stem.
The case is 10ct gold plated and was the superior Moon model which was originally guaranteed to wear 20 years. There is the odd minor mark to the case, and some rubbing to the plate (probably where it has rubbed at the bottom of a pocket over the years). The plate on the winding crown has worn down to the brass underneath.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The white enamel dial is signed with the retailer’s name. There are some short hairline cracks between 9 and 10 although faint, and a very faint hairline between 11 and 12, just about visible with a jeweller’s loupe.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
