An Antique Waltham Bond Street Pocket Watch, 1906

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique Waltham Bond Street pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 15,395,335 dates it back to 1906. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover (which has a couple of surface scratches on it).

The watch itself measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was probably made by the Dennison Watch Case Company in England, Aaron Dennison had close connections with Waltham. The inside of the case back is signed American Waltham Watch Company. The case has a little unevenness to the back and a couple of patches towards the edge of the case where the plate has rubbed.

The watch glass has a few small marks but very acceptable.

The signed white enamel dial is in very nice condition.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
