A truly stunning shaped English Victorian card case with exquisite engraved decoration to both back and front.

The hinge is in perfect working order and once the lid is opened, the full English hallmark can be found for Birmingham 1858 together with the highly sought-after Queen Victoria's head duty mark. The makers initials are also present for the silversmith, Aston and Son.

Excellent condition measuring 4" x 2 3/4" x 3/8" thick.
