~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~

A stunning original antique French clock, finely gilded bronze mounted with exquisite Sèvres style porcelain. Porcelain has a lovely pompadour rose pink background and is delicately painted with floral swags. The lower panel is beautifully painted with a cherub carrying laurel wreaths.

The case is profusely decorated floral swags, laurel swags and scrolls. The porcelain urn has a floral finial. Dial is complete with original gilt brass hands. Please note that this type of clock does not have a glazed bezel or a rear door.

The French movement is of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is an old replacement. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell.

Condition of the case is excellent, beautifully clean and bright with some slight wear and discolouration and there are no losses. The porcelain is in excellent condition with no damage.

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
