Description

Beautiful 18th century North Italian walnut cassone. Rich patina and crisp decorative carving work make this a wonderful statement piece. Solid moulded top over the burr yew inlaid front, with carved and stamped foliate panels and boxwood chevron inlay. Retaining original features such as the strap hinges and candle box.
