Description

GILLOWS of LANCASTER: A good pair of early 19th century Regency period solid mahogany HALL CHAIRS in excellent condition.

The solid backs are carved with well-defined acanthus leaves and gadrooned scrolled crests, whilst the seats are moulded with oval panels. They are supported on ring-turned slightly splayed front legs and faceted rear legs united by typical Gillows turned stretchers.

Overall height: 36ins; 17ins wide; 19ins deep; the seats 18.5ins high. (91.5 x 43 x 48 x 47cms).Priced for the PAIR.
