Silver Egg Spoon London 1860 By George Adams

A very fine ,Victorian, solid silver Egg Spoon. The terminal is edged with a lovely bead pattern. The bowl is distinctly egg spoon shaped. The back of the terminal bears clear hallmarks for the London Assay Office and date mark for 1860. The Lion Passant for sterling silver is also visible along with the renowned maker''s mark for Chawner & Co (George William Adams). Tactile spoon when held.
