1930s Art Deco Geometric Dressing Table Set

1920 - 1940
Description

This is a stunning Art Deco dressing table set that is most probably attributed to the designer Karl Palda. Made in the Czech Republic between 1920-1939, during the Art Deco period, this dressing table set consists of one large cologne bottle with lid, one atomizer perfume bottle and one loose powder jar with lid. All the pieces are in excellent condition with wear consistent with age and use. There are minor scratches on a few of the red accents, but no damage to any of the glass. Each piece is made from heavy clear glass with ruby red accents consistent with Karl Palda designs and the Art Deco period.

This is a substantial dressing table set and the pieces weight and measurements are as follows.

Large cologne bottle; 440gms, height incl. stopper 158mm (6.2 in), max width 85mm (3.34 in) Perfume atomizer bottle; 370gms, height 107mm (4.2), max width 88mm (3.4 in)loose powder bowl; 550gms, height incl.lid 85mm (3.3 in), max width 107mm (4.2 in) This is a very collectible set from the Art Deco period.
