Elegant French Antique Double Wardrobe C.1880

Description

A splendid looking antique pine French double wardrobe dating from 1880, in excellent condition for its age.

With all the beautiful, well made, original features of a French piece from this time - door mounted external french hinges, key escutcheons, elegant bracket feet and a lighter pine wood.

Currently there are shelves within the wardrobe which can be taken out and replaced with a new brass hanging rail (included in price) or you can leave them in and use this piece as a cupboard. Please let us know of your requirements.

Recently stripped to the bare wood, it is now ready for wax polishing.

As with most of our larger wardrobes, this one totally dismantles, making delivery and access possible even through the most difficult of doorways and stairways.
