Description

A 19th Century Bronze Bust of Napoleon.

The Emperor in a determined mood, wearing a ribboned bi corm hat, tunic and high collar coat.

The bust resting on an antico verde marble plinth, mounted with imperial crown and 'N', above the acanthus leaf and darted plinth mounts.

The rear with bronze foundry stamp, and signed 'Pinedo' for Emile Pinedo 1840 - 1916.

Date c 1860.

Height 9 1/4 inches, width 5 inches, depth 3 1/2 inches.
