In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Each canister has its original lid and has a small maker's plaque which reads "Parnall & Sons. Manufacturers & Complete Shop Fitters for all Trades. Narrow Wine St. Bristol".
They are all in good condition for their age and display very well as a set. There are various dents and dinks and the paint is flaking and fading in places but nothing detrimental or above what would be expected on something like this. There is some repair around the neck of one canister and some corrosion around the bases.
