Description

FINE QUALITY MAHOGANY LINEN PRESS. ENGLISH C 1860. This is an exceptionally attractive and

clean press, well looked after by former owners and is shown here in best condition.

Made by Heals in the 19th century, this Linen Press has superb richly figured

timber and has retained a very desirable mellow antique patina. The lower section has 4

smoothly running drawers with attractive round wooden knobs and working key..

The top section has 2 beautifully figured and patinated doors, behind which are

4 mahogany fronted Linen slides. again, all running smoothly. The cornice lifts off the

top section and the entire press dismantles into 3 sections. A lovely item.

Lightly refurbished and wax polished.
