A very generously proportioned 19th Century country house fire guard with unusual brass double top rail.

This handsome nursery fire guard is considerably larger than most and has the added advantage of the double brass top rail- an important safety feature and also useful for airing clothes in the nursery. The condition of this superb antique fire guard is excellent, there is also a neat access to allow the cat to get close to the fire!
