Japanese Meiji Period IVory Huntsman Okimono

A fabulous Japanese Meiji period one-piece ivory okimono depicting a hunter resting his rifle on a tree stump while he tightens his hat string, the man wears a fur jacket with a bird hanging from one side of his obi and a pouch at the other. This okimono is beautifully carved and the man has a charming expression on his face, signed by the artist on the underside it is in excellent condition and stands 7 ½ inches tall.
