Antique Country Kitchen Wall Hanging Open Shelf & Hooks C.1920

Description

A lovely wall hanging antique famhouse kitchen open shelf and hooks. Stripped ready for waxing or painting, in good condition. It dates from the 1920's and is a very useful piece to have in your kitchen.

It has a shelf at the very top, where you could place herbs or pot plants, hooks underneath for cups or pans then another shelf at the bottom which could be for cookbooks then two little drawers below. Each drawer has the original white porcelain knobs.

The hooks aren't original and can be changed if you wish.

Open shelving is fast becoming popular again. It is a chance to show off your best chinaware or kitchenware, or just to have something within easy reach rather than stuffed to the back of your kitchen cupboard.
