Description

A 19th century High Backed Oak and Elm Windsor Arm Chair.

The hoop back enclosing tapered spindles and a central back splat, with shaped profile, and an open fret centre.

The broad arms sweeping forward to rounded hand holds. The arms held by turned and shaped tapered supports.

The generous saddled seat resting on four slightly splayed ring turned and tapered legs, joined by stretchers.

Height, 45 inches, 114 cm.

Width, 26 ½ inches, 67 cm.

Depth, 22 ½ inches, 57 cm.
