Hobson May Collection has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The easel is in very good condition and stands well on its supporting base, two of the base supports are of stained pine. The colour is very good with a beautiful mellow tone. This is a stunning example of a late 19th century easel and apart from its original use, is a wonderful way to display artwork in the home.
