Description

Impressive early 19th Century Mahogany Library Bookcase. English C 1810.

This delightful bookcase has been well maintained by former owners and is shown here in good used condition. We have carried out just light refurbishing and then wax polished to show off the beautiful figured rich Mahogany.

The base stands on a plinth with 4 doors above, enclosing shelves and with drawers above these. The glazed top is in three sections with cornice above.

The shelves are all adjustable and the cabinet provides loads of storage/book space.

Book depth in middle section is 10". Book depth in the 2 outside top sections is 8.5" Working keys.

A really special Library bookcase with a great colour and mellow antique patination.
