A fantastic Japanese Meiji period hardwood okimono of a dragon headed treasure boat with its typical single sail, beautifully carved & gilded with decoration it comes with five charming individually carved Japanese gods including Hotei, Ebisu, Benten, Jurojin and Bishamon. This stunning okimono is signed on the underside by the carver and the gilder, and measures 8 ½ inches in length. To give an idea of the detail in this piece the tallest god is just 4cm tall; very minor damage to the inner base of the sale otherwise all aspects of the okimono are in excellent condition.
