Description

A wonderful burr walnut commode in the Queen Anne style. Of good construction in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. It is of bow fronted form with a single central opening door (lockable, key supplied). The door opens to reveal a shelved interior. The top is cross banded and decorated with carved gadrooning to the edge. Further carved decorations can be found throughout , particularly to the short cabriole legs. This item of furniture is extremely versatile and could be used in a number of different room settings within the modern home. We have had it sympathetically repolished to a very high standard and it is now offered for sale in excellent condition with a great colour and patina.
