A 1920s Omega Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

A 1920s Omega pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega name, and the serial number 6,144,328 dates it back to the second half of the 1920s. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The nickel case is in good condition for a 1920s piece. The inside of the hinged case back has the early Omega logo.

The watch has been fitted with an acrylic lens which has some light marking but is very acceptable.

The signed white enamel dial has super 1920s stylised numbers, unusually shaped blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
