The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a 15 jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1957 with the case maker’s mark for Dennison Watch Case Company. The back of the watch has a long service engraving from British Rail (London Midland region). The case is in good condition with just minor surface marks.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in lovely condition. The hands appear to be the originals and there is also a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
