Antique Victorian Mahogany Desk Chair

Description

A charming antique early Victorian chair in mahogany. A good quality, solid and sturdy chair with balloon back and attractively shaped front legs. It has a nicely carved back rail and has sabre legs to the back. In beautifully figured mahogany, the drop-in seat has been newly reupholstered in a faux-suede fabric. Would make a superb desk chair.

Good condition. Newly reupholstered. Solid and sturdy, with good original patina. Small angular section of back leg missing (see photo). Marks and wear commensurate with age.
