Antique Satinwood Inlaid Mahogany Leather Top Desk

1900 - 1920
Description

Nice quality antique leather topped pedestal desk in lovely condition & of good quality. It's mahogany, with some fine satinwood inlays on the top, down the front sides & around the drawers. The top has a hand coloured tooled leather writing surface. The drawers are finely dovetailed, plus they have the original handles & all of them have locks too. This desk is polished on the back too & it sits on plinth bases. It also separates into three sections for easy transportation. I would date this piece to around the 1910-20's period.
