Description

Late 18th.c. Welsh oak dresser base c.1780. Oak plank top with thumb moulded edge over three drawers and two cupboards with arch panel doors either side of a bank of dummy drawer fronts. Fabulous early timbers of particularly good colour and patina with oak panelled sides and back and solid oak drawer linings. Some earlier repairs and restorations, the unusual lion’s mask handles are not original though they are probably contemporary in date with the dresser. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
