The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1880s.
The watch has a nicely jewelled key-winding movement numbered 21517 which is working well.
A winding key is included.

The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Birmingham hallmarks for 1880 with the case makers mark for J Blanckensee & Co inside both of the case backs. The case is in nice condition with just some wear to the engine turned detail from use.

The watch glass is in nice condition.
The white enamel dial is signed Patent Lever. The dial has some faint hairline cracks although hardly noticeable to the naked eye but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
