A Very Heavy Carved Sandstone Head of a Bearded Medieval Figure.

Description

A very heavy carving of an unknown old bearded figure, it is extremely heavy ( takes 2 to carry) and made from a course sandstone which apparently may indicate an earlier date that we think.

Dimensions are approx. 18 inches deep 10 inches tall and 10 inches wide.

It appears to be in good condition, it had formed part of a retaining wall.
