Set 6 Georgian Mahogany Dining Chairs. Circa 1800

Description

Fine set of six Scottish George III mahogany and ebony line inlaid dining chairs comprising 2 elbow and 4 side chairs. The cross backs surmounted with narrow top rail and chairs stand on square tapered legs united with plain stretchers. The curved arms supported with turned uprights. All are in fine original condition with only a couple of minor repairs and with no breaks. All are fine and ready to us. Fine rich colour with great waxed patina. The drop in seats have recently been re-covered.

Size; 35" high, 22" wide (elbows), 20" wide (singles), 21" deep (elbows) 19" deep (singles).
